1. About Cedar & Pine

Cedar & Pine Woodworking LLC is a custom woodworking shop specializing in hand-built furniture, built-ins, cabinetry, and finish carpentry for homeowners, builders, and designers in the greater Kentuckiana region. Every project is custom — designed and built to your specific space and specifications.

2. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes — to showcase our work, explain our services, and allow you to request a project quote. You agree not to:

• Use this site for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the website or its infrastructure
• Scrape, copy, or reproduce our portfolio images, content, or design without written permission
• Submit false or misleading information through any contact or quote form

All content on this site — including photography, text, and design — is the property of Cedar & Pine Woodworking LLC and may not be reproduced without permission.

3. Quote Requests & Project Inquiries

Submitting a quote request through our contact form does not constitute a contract, commitment, or guarantee of services. A project engagement only begins when both parties have agreed on scope, pricing, and timeline in writing.

We will follow up within one business day of receiving a quote request. We reserve the right to decline any project at our discretion.

4. Project Agreements

All custom woodworking projects are governed by a separate written project agreement between Cedar & Pine and the client. That agreement will specify:

• Scope of work and final design
• Pricing and payment schedule (including any deposit requirements)
• Estimated timeline and delivery/install date
• Change order process

In the event of any conflict between these Terms of Service and a signed project agreement, the project agreement controls.

5. Custom Nature of Work

All pieces built by Cedar & Pine are custom-made to order. Because of the custom nature of our work:

• Deposits paid to begin a project are non-refundable once materials have been ordered or fabrication has begun, unless otherwise specified in the project agreement
• Dimensions, finishes, and specifications are confirmed in writing before fabrication begins — changes after that point may result in additional costs or delays
• Natural wood products may vary in grain, color, and character — this variation is inherent to the material and not a defect

6. Portfolio & Photography

By engaging Cedar & Pine for a project, you agree that we may photograph the completed work and display those images in our portfolio, website, and social media, unless you specifically request otherwise in writing prior to project completion.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

This website and its content are provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of the information on this site. Descriptions, timelines, and pricing shown on the site are for general reference only — all specifics are determined through the project consultation and agreement process.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cedar & Pine Woodworking LLC and its owner(s) shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website or reliance on its content.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana. Any disputes arising from these terms or from a project engagement shall be resolved in Clark County, Indiana.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our website after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
